This is part of the opening credits for my third year movie. I like 2D animation as much as 3D so I really wanted to incorporate some 2D element into the film. I also learned how to clean and colour in harmony and keep my 2D skills up!
I did some inbetweening and colouring for other peoples films too which was very educational, I had to draw other peoples characters, follow their style and keys which was an interesting experience. It was also a nice refresher, so when I got back to doing 3D stuff I had fresh ideas on how to approach certain actions concerning arcs, amount of stretch and squash and timing. When doing either one I feel I can appreciate their advantages and disadvantages, and I still love them both!
